WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) released the below statement after the House passed a bill to extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits for three years. Congressional Republicans refused to extend the tax credits ahead of their expiration on December 31st. The bill passed 230-196.

“Yesterday, ICE killed an American citizen in what appears to be an unjustified shooting. I have serious concerns about the deployment of ICE in our communities and what their exact orders are. We were told they would only be arresting criminals and the worst of the worst.
